Can we add a "real world" forum to the Sneap forums??

Dunno what I've said to deserve that! But oh well... if thats what its about; simple noob hatred; then it seems pretty silly to me.

I'm from the West Midlands originally actually :D

Where abouts are you? I'm originally from near Coventry. Grew up there and moved to London when I was 19.

Let me ask you guys this.....if there was a site kinda like the Sneap site, but it was kinda set up to where you could post messages in a forum like this one and you could have other members as friends like myspace and you could chat to your friend if they were on....like yahoo instant messenger. You could leave tweets or blurbs. you could send mail directly to a member, would you like a site like that?
This is an idea I had and just seeing if you would like it http://themetallab.webs.com/

It could be pretty cool, depending on how it's implemented.
I've seen a promising site die on its arse before, from having too much stuff going on and trying to be everything from a forum to a facebook clone, but done badly.

I'd certainly join a site like that if you set it up ( the link you posted doesn't go anywhere yet).
One thing though, i'd rather have it be a general audio engineering / music production site that would cater to all aspects of the subject, rather than being strictly metal.

Let me fix the link...however the only reason I made it geared to metal is because there is already gearslutz, homerecording.com, harmonycentral. this one would be for our specific needs.

Update***link should be fixed
