pantera>> no idea, but everyone says cowboys from hell
slayer>> Reign in blood is the classic one...i dont like them anyway
blind guardian>> i would recommend imaginations from the other side or the new one a night at the opera! tales from the twilight world is great as well...so is nightwfall in middle earth ... i woul not start with batallions of fear; follow the blind or forgotten tales
nevermore>> the self titled is the weakest nevermore release (still worth buying of corse) haha...in memory has the quality of DNB!

demons and wizards: has some excellent songs....

personally, i thisnk the self-titled is one of nevermore's BEST releases. you can't beat "garden of gray", "c.b.f." or "what tomorrow knows".

Blind Guardian - Nightfall
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss is the only one I'd consider owning
Demons & Wizards - It's like the best parts of Iced Earth and Blind Guardian combined. Better than either band, IMO.
