CD Racks

That is what I have but it's three sections instead of two. Sadly (or not), it's almost completely full.

I think over this summer I'm going to construct a large cabinet to fit my albums. I do not like my current set up at all.

If you have an IKEA near you this is pretty good, It's what I use, their shelf "Benno". They come in lots of different colors and you can snap several together to make a bigger one, so it is easy to expand along with your collection.

An IKEA just opened near my house. I might have to investigate this.

I prefer to get something with large shelves, because I'm anal about keeping things alphabetized and with smaller shelves it means more moving stuff around...

Crates take up more floorspace than something that can hug the wall (like a CD rack), they make it easier to organize your colleciton, and most importantly of all, you have easy access to your CD's without digging through a big pile of them. And it looks nicer.

True, but it's way easier to transport crates than a CD rack. Not only that, crates hold more CDs on average than racks do.

Nowhere yet, but at least when I do, I don't have to worry about transporting my CDs.

My room is messy as shit anyway. I don't care about whether it looks nice.

When I took my collection up to college, I packed all the CD's in boxes and strapped my tower to the roof of the car. Wasn't much a hassle.

You're probably right, but I'm lazy and the crates were free since they were lying around my house.
