Crates > Racks

Is that a Phil Collins CD I see there or just something with very similar cover art. Because not even Epicus Doomicus Metallicus makes up for owning a Phil Collins solo record. You're not supposed to start buying those until you hit your midlife crisis.

Yes that's Phil Collins and yes I like some of his material (I'm in a quarterlife crisis, so it sorta counts)

I don't like my tower very much as it was clearly designed for form over function, but it was a gift. I decided that when the freestanding stack reaches the height of the tower I'll invest in a much nicer storage unit.

My next tower I want to be like that one, but straight, and around 6 feet high. The taller and thinner it is, the less space it will take up.

I'm pretty certain I want a shelf type thing, because I'm anal about organizing and also when I put all of my favorite possessions on something tall, thin, and lacking in stability it makes me nervous (especially with my brother, the three-legged elephant on a pogo stick, around).

I agree, shelfs is the way to go. I hate those thin racks, especially when they store the cds the wrong way (laying down instead of standing) and the worst thing is when there are slots for each fucking cd so a large digipak or double-jewel case is impossible to fit in.
