I think that Bodom was my top band, especially when I discovered Tokyo Warheart. Now I guess I'd have to say it's Symphony X, with Necrophagist, Wintersun, Nightwish, and Ensiferum close behind. If Marty Friedman were still in Megadeth (Rust in Peace days) then they would be #1.

Excellent choices, though I still think that Necrophagist's songwriting needs a little something more. Too focused on technical ability and not enough on the MUSIC. Late-era Death was the perfect mix of these two elements.
