Do you think Chuck could have put up more of a fight in Way of the Dragon? (That's Return of the Dragon for you yanks).

I think Bruce would have killed him either way.

Give Chuck some guns though, and now you're talking. Just look at Invasion USA and Missing in Action part III....he's a one man killing machine. He could even take out John Matrix I reckon.

I'm glad to see he was honored as a judge in Dodgeball.

In terms of pure technique - Bruce would mop up the floor with him. In terms of toughness, if it became a "street fight" type situation with a lot of clutching and grabbing, then Chuck would definately have an advantage.

Tournaments and "gentleman's" fights - Bruce

Streetfights - Chuck

See that's what I thought Jeet Kune Do was: the art of street fighting.

Yeah but I don't see Bruce selling the Total Gym with Christie Brinkley. :loco:

I gotta say, I was truly sold on Bruce when he whipped out that nunchaku thingy in Way of the Dragon (round the back of the restaurant)....only to follow it with a second nunchaku in his other hand. And then he started spinning them together and kicking all sorts of ass.

I hear in real life, the nunchaku is about as useful in a fight as a soft boiled egg.

Now excuse me while I whip this out.

oh i forgot to mention that chuck norris can obviously outbeard bruce lee. so if that was the contest, norris. also lee couldn't be Warker: Texus Langer. the cowboy hat thing just wouldn't work.

I think you put Tito Ortiz, or any bigger UFC guy, they could own both of them. Both of those guys are true martial artists, but the martial arts only go so far. Most of them lack ground skills. I know if I'm fighting someone, I'm taking them to the ground for some nice elbows to the face.

Bruce created Jeet Kune Do, which assimilates all these different fighting styles into one. That includes wrestling technique so he'd be good on the ground, pinning you down, holding you tight...

Fnar fnar, say no more, your wife like cricket does she?

*steals chromatose's thunder*

Well, regardless it would be fun to see Bruce go up against the top fighters nowadays. If he lost though.. I'd kind of die a little on the inside :/

He would never lose. He's like Ben Kenobi. Even if he was struck down, he would only come back as a force more powerful than you could ever imagine.
this is funny, but seriously, it's true. it's an impossible bet to regulate, but i can just about guarantee that bruce lee was the toughest man that has ever lived. i forget which movie it is, but he's doing some exercise routines in front of the camera and the dude literally had complete mastery over every muscle in his body.

that dude that got killed by the horsedick wouldn't know what hit him if bruce lee ass fucked him am i rite.

Look, he kicked the shit out of Kareem Abdul Jabbar!!! What more evidence is required?

And all the man ever wanted was to fly a plane without getting food poisoning!!
