Yeah I can't imagine what it would feel like. Sharon says he's okay so that's a good thing but there is a reason he's taking so much time off.
At the time this happened I thought this was pretty funny. And then Metallica went on to have less edge than Winger.

Still I like the comment about it being immature. Sheesh if we organised a list of things in rock and metal videos that were immature based on that yard stick we'd never finish compiling the list!

I don't see many from him and it's the first time I've heard him asked that. They ask about the Beavis And Butthead thing but have left Metallica out of it. I think Lars probably had a crush on ole Kip and this was deflection and repression. Lars is only comfortable making out with Kirk...

He really is coming off like a dick now. I know when he started doing interviews a few months back people suggested he was doing it to sell his new album which they claimed wasn't very good. But I can't figure out his motivation now. Seems he just wants to make himself hated by everyone. Some of what he said about Mick might well be close to the truth, but there is no way Jake would ever have fitted into the mould the Mick made himself.
No he wouldn't have been good in Crue at all, at least not the Crue we know who sold millions of records. Jake showed us what he could do and wanted to do. It was Badlands. For some reason people seem love that band. I checked them out a few months ago because they're always brought up by Blabber posters. They sound like a Whitesnake cover band to me.

I remember listening to the first Badlands album when it came out because I thought Jake was alright. It was one of those album I had on a copied cassette, I never felt the desire to actually buy it. Jake wasn't, maybe still isn't, a bad guitarist but there is very little he has done since Ozzy that I felt compelled to buy or listen too. However he definitely wouldn't have fitted on something like Girls, Girls. Girls or Dr. Feelgood.
