Blitz has always had a baby face :)

Man I'm not happy at the moment. My youngest has a teacher who hates the kids using computers to do their work. Forget the fact that the teachers send work to them via computer, she expects the kids to write everything down and parents to photograph it then upload pictures. I can understand hand writing is important etc but these times of home schooling are not normal and everyone has to adapt to something. My kids grew up on computers so using them is easy and I'm not taking photographs of work books just to upload them. The teacher doesn't like this so picks on my daughter for petty shit like missing a capital letter or the like. Today she's sent us a message telling my daughter that if she insists on using a computer for everything she much check her spelling. I read through the work three times and the only problem I can find is Word picking up a surname as incorrect (which it isn't according to the work text). I don't mind the kid being told off, she's a kid she will make typos, but telling her there is typos when there isn't just because the teacher doesn't like work done on a computer really shits me!

That's not cool. A bad teacher can really have an effect on a kid. Why should you have to do all that crap anyway? Does she know what year it is?

She's old and I guess set in her ways but it's really fucking annoying. The school wants the kids on camera (zoom meetings sort of thing) for some time each day. They want to run video assemblies that the whole school can tune into from home. My eldest is supposed to do reading tutoring with the younger students via the internet and the school council meet via cameras, yet one teacher thinks the only way for kids to do work is with a pencil, a book so it can be photographed and uploaded. In some ways I'm glad the kids will barely spend half a year in the classroom this year. It sucks because...well because it's not school, but with a teacher that doesn't like computers it sucks less.

Can I reject the order? :)
It's a strange school, one teacher who doesn't want to use computers and the leadership group who don't understand how to use computers.
What's even stranger is that I've offered them free help to show them how better to use technology but they refuse to accept it. However if I was to volunteer to do the gardening, painting, etc they'd be asking me when I can start.
