I guess I'm lucky in some ways. My kids don't get disheartened by shit like being told they make typos, they put in the effort, they do the work and they take criticism well. It's me that gets pissed off with the school and the teachers.

I just heard my youngest's teacher tell the class, (via a zoom meeting in the other room) that they should not be using the chat (text) feature to talk amongst themselves while they are waiting for the teacher to join because chatting is not what classroom meetings are for. Sometimes I just have to laugh!!

It does get to that point eventually. I'm pissed off and when school goes back I'll be talking to one of the teachers in the leadership group about it but I know nothing will change. But thankfully it wont have to because they really only have one term and a few weeks of school left with their current teachers so even if covid does go on they'll both get new teachers next year. The teacher I'll talk too I've known for about 30 years, he's as useless as tits on a bull when it comes to these things, but because I've known him for so long I can swear at him so that will make me feel better

I still think it's quite funny that KK has on multiple occasions bitched about JP using a carbon copy of him on guitar yet he's gone and used a carbon copy singer. At least when JP hired a new axeman they didn't just look for a cover band vocalist

There is no doubt that this album is going to be riding on nostalgia to get sales. I hope for KK that it does actually sell, other wise the blame list is going to be so long and drawn out that it will be spoken about for years.

I totally agree, the school really doesn't have the same thought though. Weirdly enough I reckon 95% of the parents have probably said such a thing, 80% probably say it regularly, but they'd frown at it happening at assembly. Weird people!

In school they teach kids to speak their mind and not keep things bottled up, yet when it comes to parents it's the complete opposite, and kids think they have it hard!!
