It's good to see some of the older guys being recognised. He may not have been the best drummer and he will probably end up covered in pigeon shit just like the Bon Scott statues we have but who cares it's better than half of the other arty farty shit that litters cities in the name of art!

I'll start out by saying I am not a fan of these guys and never have been,not even sure they deserve to be in a "classic" thread but when I see a headline like this I'm definitely calling bullshit.

I'm sure it was a shitty tour, shit attracts shit, I don't even have a problem with arsehole promoters fighting on a bus but dangling a guy from a window in a city of more than 4 million people does not go unnoticed. Not only would it have been picked up by the music press it would have been picked up by the news because no matter how many people saw it someone would have freaked out and rung the cops. that would have brought the ambos and the fireries out.

Rockband Mythology

I remember the tour and even the glam rockers on the forum I used to frequent who were hanging out to see the LA Guns reckoned the shows they saw sucked. Considering we had one of the worst promoters in the world promoting Soundwave at the time I don't doubt bad blood between the band and promoters was in part responsible for the shitty shows.

I like the way Alice thinks. Sure others might not think the next album is the best he's done, or the next live show he's doing isn't but as long as he feels that way it's worth getting off his arse and actually doing it. All bands must have a similar outlook I guess and the fans (or trolls) are there to burst that bubble but Alice has been doing it for a long time so he must be doing something right even if it's only in his mind
