Yeah especially when the sites I look at don't talk about the less popular albums that much. The last I remember reading about the new Orange Goblin was about three months ago and I forgot to note it down so looking down the release list for yesterday it was a surprise. Still I will have a CD in my hot little hands in a few hours.

New Orange Goblin is another great stoner album. Madball is good but nothing ground breaking. Think I'm going to have to get the rest of my OG collection spinning today.

I used to like Jake in Ozzy's band, although I tried I never really got into Badlands though. But it looks like he's channelling his inner Willie Nelson. I suspect in a few years all that hair will be grey, the beard fully grown and a reefer will be hanging out his mouth.

Damn 29 years since Extreme Aggression. I remember the day I first heard that album. Fuck the Big 4, the only one of those bands that didn't get put to the back of the record collection after EA was released was Slayer. Kreator slayed the other three bands at the time.

No I mean that everything from Ride the lighting to AJFA, from Killing to SFSGSO, from Fistfull of Metal to Euphoria all found their way to the back of the collection and stopped being played in favour of Kreator because Extreme Aggression kicked the shit out of them.

We do and the big 4 always meant more to America than it did the rest of the world. Just like when thrash started to take over from hard rock and NWOBHM in the early 80's here, when Kreator released EA and clubs and radio stations started playing their previous three albums which were all on import in this country it was always going to be more popular that what was, even then, becoming mainstream for the metal heads.

Very good point,even though the production on EA could have been much better as was the problem with some other bands here and there.I did purchase the reissue a few months back and was very pleased!
