Chris Holmes made 60 too, looking at the Decline Of Western Civilisation (which he claims portrayed him on a bad light) there would be a lot of people surprised he got to such an age.

I was surprised when he came out a few years back and tried to tell everyone that the pool scene in Decline of West Civ. was all staged and that the producers did it to make him look bad.

Apparently there was a song on that album that was done with two black guys and it was revolutionary. I can't for the life of me think what it was. I wonder if Charlie Benate can remember it.

I'm not as fussed with it these days but I remember liking the entire thing when I first bought it. I don't mind the SOD covers but lets face it Scott and Charlie make up half of SOD so they are covering themselves. Parasite and Pipeline are quite good. Protect to Survive is ok, even the two live songs are ok. But the newer I'm the Man, Starting Up A Posse, Bring The Noise and even the backward titled ballad are lets downs.

I know there is not a lot of love for folk metal and less love for foreign languages but it's 9 years since this was released as it's still as funny now as it was then.

I'm pretty sure the idiot lawyer threatened this back when the other case was settled. Guess now he needs some more money so he's convinced the other parties they have a case. Pity these cases are never really about the truth.

Oh it's the same lawyer? lol! Didn't he say something before like he didn't file frivolous law suits? Or something close?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the same guy. The bummer is that he was, in part, right with the last law suit because his clients got a pay out so I'm sure he doesn't believe he's being frivolous. I didn't really agree with the last suit but this one is just strange. Why wait 30+ years to tell everyone your wrote a song? You obviously knew you wrote it, why not hit the band 30 years ago and have your name credited and get paid for it from that day. Only reason I can think of is that they know it's hard to prove things 30 years on so they have a better chance of winning a payout now someone reminded them that they 'could have' written a hit song.
