I was at the Wacken show with my brother and my best friend too - 3rd cob show within one year
It was a good show even though I hoped to hear a "special" song or something else than they played in april (I thought they would film the DVD there). But they aren`t to blame. I mean they were touring all the time for us, the fans, and I think there is no time to practise the old songs.
The rain was crazy- I was wet to the skin but it wasn`t cold rain so it was pretty epic^^
Unfortunately I couldn`t film a video because of the rain. My pictures are crappy too :/ Most of the time it was raining and the light wasn`t the best to take good pictures. But I´ll try to upload the best ones in the next days.
We had a great time- thanks for that! We had some glowsticks and henkka even waved to us (we were in the first row) which was pretty awesome
The pyro effects were great too.
As I said somewhere else. When I´m listening at home to CoB I normally don`t hear IYF- but it works great as a live song!

Yes, I'm also back from Wacken. It was the hell, but the best hell I know.
The CoB show was great, pyro and the stage with the special construction. But with the sound you're right. On the other stage next to these one was Motörhead before. I was really impressed about the amazing sound they have live (it was the first time for me). Compared with that the CoB-sound was not so loud. Before the show started K-man changed Alexis micro-cable and during the first 2 or 3 songs he straights out Alexis monitors.
So, somthing didn't work there, but I can't tell you exactly what it was.
I watched the video from the show yesterday. Was it only on my screen so fuzzy or do you have the same problem?

Back from Wacken few days but not still recovered yet.
COB concert was so great as usual, even with that damn rain that ruined all my plans of taking good pix and filming. However, according to a friend of mine, he took good ones and did some videos. I'm waiting for him to come back to London to pick up this things. For now, I have this crappy ones from my phone
As @ Kassiopeia said, for a open air concert the sound on stange didn't come (for me) so loud but clear. Got very impressed with the phyro and all stage stuffs. Felt so lucky because if they come over for a South America tour someday, they'll (probrably) not bring all that thing, so, in a general way, I had a very enjoyable view.
Was surprised also why Needlled 24/7 wasn't on the set list. Think everyone was waiting for this song and most people were around me seemed to know just the old songs wich is not that bad. The set was good yes but not for a live DVD as we were speculating.The top of the concert was the third sond and most waited for me: SKO besides being my fave track and blablabla really kick serious ass live. People got insane. I got. Well, after that, just enjoyed the rest of the concert anesthetized.
Who was more anesthetized than me was Alexi: He seemed to be tired or something... don't know explaing in words but it is not a negattive point since I don't care.
A friend in Brazil sent me this live stream link http://rocksnrulestv.blogspot.com/20...2011-full.html he was following the festival and surprisingly said "Bodom wans't that bad this time, I mean, they're are getting... uh.. better"

Wtf is this Relentless Wacken thing? An energy drink? Just by coincidence, with the Bodom album title?
Nothing, I just wonder at the coincidence of the words. I guess the title of the DVD would've been Relentless Wacken something.
