Definitely Immortal. I think that De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas is a pretty cold sounding album actually.

I would have to say Immortal's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th albums & Mayhem's DMDS are tied for coldest black metal albums.

edit: okay, Darkthrone is a close 2nd with Under A Funeral Moon and Transylvanian Hunger

De Mysteriis Dom Santhis was an ice-cold album, I must agree. It was stormy, even. Hellhammer's drums sounded like a fucking thunderstorm.

Yes, it is definitely Hellhammer's best drumming performance in my opinion. Everything sounded perfect.
