Andy, do you have fast internet connection in your mansion/studio?
It seems a stupid question but I'm very interested about it because I've the possibility to use a pretty isolated house like your to record/live but without internet in these days, it would be much difficult to find clients.
Of course you don't need myspace to find bands

Here's a question I've always wondered ever since I had the opportunity to record and listen to a Royer R121. To my ears, the Royer smokes the sm57 so I've always been kinda curious if Andy has ever tried one and compared it to the 57. Just wondering because he seems very partial to the 57. I know everyone to each his own, but maybe Andy thinks it's too dark dark or doesn't have the mids to cut through or whatever reason. I know he favored the 57 to an Audix i5.

So Andy, if you don't mind my asking, what are your thoughts on a Royer R121 vs an SM57?

Yeah, Andy said he didn't like the Royer at all, although it came in a nice box! Haha.

its not that theres anything wrong with the Royer, it just didn't work for me and what I'm after out of a guitar tone. Other guys seem to really dig them but was way too muddy for me . Box was nice tho....
