Hey Andy we talked for a few seconds after your performance at Bloodstock '07 (Great show mate)! How far is your studio/house from the place where Bloodstock takes action?
Cheers
Cheers
i asked for the wah pedal not for the sake of getting that awesome tone myself (im a fucking noob production and guitar wise)
i just fucking like that wah sound (in the last dvd is awesome) and im planning on getting a wah pedal for the home studio in the future

Thx Andy for your answers
here`s some:
- How hot you cranked amp for recording ?
- What you do with trrigger signal to avoid double triggering problem ?
sorry for my English
What compressor do you use for drums ? separately for - bd and separately for snare tracks (i am NOT talking about parallel compression). What kind of reverb do you use for drums also (if you do)
thx
I have a new one:
What snare drum/s (brand and model) are we hearing in most of your mixes? Do you prefer a particular one/type or do you just make every snare that comes into your studio sound epic?
besides threshold and release(retriggering) time - I`m think about decreasing sustein, but on yours photos and life DVDs didn`t notice dampening bars like moongel etc. so maybe you make original signal from triggers similar to damped with comp, gate etc.? If so how exactly?- What you do with trrigger signal to avoid double triggering problem ?
Andy, oh Andy where did you go???

Hey Andy,
Here's a question that's been troubling me :
How do you choose the crossover frequencies on your master multi-band comp ?
Thanks in advance,

Any of you knows which way "the pros" record guitars on a live performance, cause I´m going to record some bands live shit, and I´d like to achieve a good sound quality.
I wonder if they uses DI boxes and then reamp at studio, or uses line signal from the amp and then IR´s, o simply the mic in front of the amp.....any idea???
prettttttty sure they take the DI if at all possible.
So they can get a tone without all the bleed. And get a tone that wasn't just chucked up in 5 minutes.
