I'm tired man! Woke up 30 minutes before my alarm clock was to ring... 6 am. Fuck! Couldn't sleep anymore so I went to work early. Now it's 7.38 and I have just finished my first cup of coffee.
Right now my job sucks because I have nothing to do.... sucks so much ass! I just wanna focus on Skyfire stuff right now, I have to take care of arrangements for the cover-thing for the new album...

Anyway... what's up with you?

fuck i HATE it when that happens. getting screwed out of sleep pisses me off haha. yeh i have the opposite problem at work tomorrow, too much to do haha. gonna have to work my ass off all this week, but i get next monday off becuase of labor day (an american holiday) so ima go camping for the 3 day weekend with my dad and maybe my older brother might come. now all my efforts are to score some weed by thursday night. (not much to do out in the woods besides get high hehe)
and yeh, get all that new album stuff handled man. i need some new skyfire.

I think I prefer working my ass off really.. just sitting around doing nothing makes the day seem so increadibly long. Anyway, what's you job?

I just want this week and the next one to be over.. then it's recording time! I'm so much looking forward to it right now! Just gotta put up with work for another week and a half.

I can tell you that I have been listening to some demo versions of songs for the new album pretty much lately... and all I can say is
Andreas and Martin truly are fantastic

awesome that makes me so excited to see that you're hyped about it. cant wait to hear the new stuff! i am the 'warehouse manager' and that means i work my ass off lifting heavy boxes all day and doing paperwork. fun!

yeh. ive seen that a lot of guys in metal bands work in warehouses. probably becuase they dont care about long hair, tattoos, beards....ya know, just generally scruffy lookin guys like us heh. well not you, mr clean.

And I don't think the ppl at my work would mind if I looked more 'metal'.. it's not like we have a dress code or anything

thats pretty cool. it all depends. small independant companies dont care too much, but big corperate ones are all about you looking like crew-cut joe with no tattoos or piercings or beard or anything. america is too fucking conservative.

hahaha coffee maniac man. so you said above you're working on the cover/logo an all that...hows it coming along? got an artist in negotiations yet? decide what to do about the logo? we cant have delays over small details like these! even though im sure these small details take lots of work and cause lots of stress haha.

I'm 90% sure we'll go with Tomasz Danilowicz (www.g-r-a-a-l.com). About the logo I don't know yet, I have got some suggestions from people on this board and from friends, so I'm sure it will work out for the best!

Yeah, it sure causes a lot of stress, all this back and forth mailing between recordlabel, artist, manager and me makes you insane sometimes. I just wanna tell the guy what he should do.. don't have the energy to discuss budget and other boring stuff.

He's not expensive at all actually. And takes things seriously too, so I think he will do all he can to make us satisfied with the result.
