Concerts - 2004

Buahah, I've been to those bands' gigs before so not much harm done. :p
Except that 'kin Morbid...
Btw, Katatonia was very lame imo. :/

EDIT:
Oops, I almost forgot that I just saw tons of bands in Provinssirock too. Such as HIM, Testament, Hypocrisy, Exodus, David Bowie and so on.

*heh* on last thursday I went to see Katatonia [/HUUUGE surprise :p ] & Rapture. Very good =) That was the gig Katatonia played before going to Nummirock...
Now I saw them three times this year :D

just got home from korn and static-x, which turned out to be a good show. korn are a really good live-band, even though I assume that they don´t have too many fans here.

and I´ll most probably see the crüxshadows the 10th july, which is at least a small substitute for that insanely good festival line-up rahvin and siren talked about somewhere...

why aren't you coming along, next fall? there's still plenty of time to plan it out thoroughly, and i know people in athens (yes, they're mostly 18-y-o metalheads. so what? once we've all been like that, right?).

OMG or WTF -
I'm going to see KISS w/Poison in a few days - a Friend asked me to go -
I've seen KISS 1x and don't know what to make (or makeup) of Them ?
As my Friend is a KISS Fanatic and a member of the KISS Army - She bought the best seats available @ $345 each -
For that kind of money We could fly to Finland -

I think KISS is extremely overrated. POiSON have better music. Yeah, I went to the same tour in California 2 weeks ago, for $20.

@ Arch - I still don't get the Kiss Thing - guess its all SHOW business - great seats- second row center - as part of the package got to go back stage and 'meet the band' - many other perks ( a recording of this concert, special Tshirt, bunch of other stuff) btw gave everything to my Friend -

Gene Simmons himself even admits that he's in music for the money.

rahvin & siren:

well... I never got much further than "greece... far away... *sigh*".
but it´s only a few days off work, after all, so maybe it isn´t that impossible. :) if there´s an at least reasonably economical solution to the whole traveling thing it just might be tempting enough, 18-y-o metalheads included or not. :p I´ll look into it.

you don´t happen to know of any homepage? the supposedly official one (www.medievalindustry.com/seelenschmerz) seems to be dead and the rest I´ve found is in greek, which isn´t very helpful to me...

July 09, 2004 - Artisan & some other local L.A. bands.

@Delirious: it's not that far, even i got to Sweden twice. ;)
I guess that if you book plane tickets early enough you could find a good price. And maybe i could help with hotels if your travel agency doesn't, i know a couple in Athens.
The official homepage is dead, but last year it was extremely useful. I guess it's too early for them to fix it now, but they probably will in time. I can help with the greek pages though. :) Still, there's not much info as of yet, even the venue is TBA.
