That's just a few of my favorite blackened thrash bands. Did you check out the Nocturnal track/album i posted in the Song Kicking Your Ass thread? Another one of my favorites form that style of thrash. Since you really enjoyed Vektor i'd say give Vexovoid a shot, some heavy Vektor worship there.

I just watched the Starforger video whilst I had my evening spot of Tea and some Blueberries and enjoyed it. It seemed to be similar to an Iron Maiden type sounding song ( which isn't why I liked it ). I was grateful for the lyric translation, and I ate every Blueberry, they were spot on.

I can't remember if I've heard any Sorcier des Glaces. I'll check that one out.

Yeah get on it! Interested to hear your thoughts on it. "Passage Au-Dela Des Glaciers Noirs", "To the Snow Crowned Mountains", "Dawn of the Apocalypse" and "North" are amazing tracks. Freezing fucking cold and full of majesty.

At least you're guaranteed riffs whereas with black metal, it's a gamble as to whether you're going to get some actual composition (Wampyrinacht) or masturbatory atmospherics that ultimately go nowhere (Mgla).

What’s wrong with Mgla? With Hearts Towards None is pretty fucking good!
