Good point, but that was not the main reason I don't like them.
Firstly I don't like the looks, they don't look bad, but it's just nothing special at all in my opinion.. Secondly, now the trend is getting over but last year EVERYONE had them, which is also pretty lame. Nothing against people who wear those though, it's their money.

True, they were a HUGE fad a little while ago, and yeah I agree it's kind of lame sometimes to buy something just because everyone else has it (although that's what humans do a lot; it's natural). But my point was that if you like something, buy it, even if everyone else has it. They may think that you're trying to follow a trend (and you may be to some extent, again that's what humans do naturally), but you'll at least know that you are just doing whatever the fuck you want.

I don't own converses, instead I own cheap-rip offs in different colours. My favourite pair are my green and black ones (I might post a photo some day)

But I hardly wear them anymore, since I can't separate my feet from my New Rock boots (fangirl, yes.)

I used to wear my boots every day(normaly army boots,not these New Fag boots) but now i feel more comfortable with my old converse,just a piece of canvas on your feet,feels like you're almost walking without shoes,i like wearing them.
Especially in the summer time,big black boots suck balls

I don't have converses but cheap knockoffs that look just like them and cost 10€ a pair I have two pairs of those, both black but they are a bit different models. One of them is in mint condition, but the otehr pair I wore in Sauna Ope Air festivals for 3 days and it totally fucked them up, not as much as nihil's converses but close, and mine were definetly a lot more dirty, you could barely tell the original colour from all that dust and mud and shit.
In teh winter I use my steeltip army boots. A lot warmer and better, bI'd wear them in the summer too but they're a bit too hot, they cook my feet.
