Cool New bands you should have heard!

Maybe not "new" but I have recently discovered these guys called Riverside. They're like the Polish Porcupine Tree, with some Dream Theaterish sections in there too. Really good stuff, although sometimes the vocalist bugs me.

I dig Silent Strain. Do they have an album yet?
There were a lot of links to bands I have never heard, that I dig .... I love threads like this.
I am such a nerd.

Can't get into Battle of Mice at all. Cheesy spoken word over a bunch of drone guitars, hardly any drums at all. I don't get it...

Architect, less original but way more enjoyable!

I've really gotten into Sybreed's new album lately:

I cant get into sybreed's latest for some reason.. :ill: i really like their previous effort, but this one seems boring compared to that one.. could be me though, since i need to give a better chance and some time to grow on me.

Most of y'all have probably heard of these guys before; but this thread inspired me to venture out and start clicking around, etc.
I ran across this band called MachineMade God , and am listening to them right now.
They seem like a talented group.
BTW - the name of their album (that I am listening to) is Masked.
If you guys think this group sucks, or they have been around forever - please excuse my ignorance.
I just wanted to try and contribute something.
Take care.
