So last night I had a dream the girl I was kinda hanging with said that she didn't want to see me anymore because she was seeing someone else.

Today it actually happened.

What the fuck. How come my brain knew? It's a shitty situation, but it freaked me out that I dreamt it the night before it happened....I'm getting Calpurnia vibes.

:guh: Thats some weird shit man, that fucking sucks man.

it's not that weird... the dream was just your subconscious mind being honest with you while you're asleep and in no position to interfere with it or deny it... you knew this was coming when you were awake, but your brain's defense mechanisms, likely a mixture of denial and hope, kept you from facing it consciously.

you got the signals, you knew it was coming... your dreaming brain just let out what you already knew.

don't feel bad about that, it just means two things:

one... you're perceptive.

two... you're human.

I guess you're right....it's still kind of a bummer and I still thought it was a bit weird cause it happened the same exact way as I dreamed.

My subconscious brain is apparently a smart mofo....and being human sucks.

I remember dreaming with and earthquake and big waves coming , the next day, bang ¡¡¡¡ a fucking earthquake and a tsunami. Thats was a big mindfuck for me for like two days , then i just drink a bottle whisky and forget about it .

As a die hard Atheist and general skeptical person it kills me to say this: But i have had so many dreams come true in detail its scary.. and it haven't been one of those "oh, i dreamt this a while ago.", but rather that i knew that the dream was going to happen and it did.
My friend can testify from two occasions where i acted out a entire conversation we just started, and on both of them his face turned white because i literally knew every single word he was going to say.
Ive had allot of other similar things happen, same with my dad and his mother.

I dont know what to make of it at all, as i dont believe in new age junk, ghosts or an afterlife.. but i cant deny what i have experienced on my own.. so yeah, your not alone on that one man.

I one time had a dream that Pavlov's dog got in a fight with Shrödingers cat. It was really weird....I woke up completely confused about philosophy and life in general.

For the die hard atheists that don't know what to think, the theory is simple enough, our brains take in everything regardless of whether our conscious mind knowledges it. When you sleep you take all the events that are stored into your memory and from those events, your brain tries to anticipate what will happen next, sometimes a dream is just well a dream, sometimes they are similar to a real event, and sometime, although rare, actually happen word for word, detail by detail. Everything we do now effects tomorrow and our brain when we can't drown it out will connect the dots and get and idea of what is to happen.

The other possible theory which can go hand in hand is that we are 3 dimensional entities but we exist all the way to the 6th dimension. The relationship of our energy in this location of space along the fourth dimension to other spaces in the fourth dimension can communicate and travel in either direction (we are talking about energy, which is believed to be able to jump to anywhere in 6 dimensions) although our conscious minds are alway moving in one direction along the line, we exist in a long string across the fourth as well. There is a possibility that ourselves in both future and past can communicate through wormhole that allow energy to move to any location on the fourth dimension, which in simple terms would allow us to get a glimpse of what will happen in the future.

As for the earthquakes and tsunamis, its how animals can detect danger, such as earthquakes, it has been suggested that the changes in the earth's magnetic field changes shortly before events like earthquake and solar flare and that change effects our brains, again being able to anticipate that events will take place based on those changes.

I have said the same thing about ghosts to. Notice how there have been no solid pictures or videos of full apparition like people see. As a studying Electrical Engineer, magnetic fields in high amounts can cause aural, visual and sensory hallucinations and interference/noise by electronics. Electronics pickup exactly what they see, but our brains try to find familiar shapes out of unfamiliar things. That is why you can see faces in grains of wood or in clouds/smoke and hear voices when you feel like someone is watching you in a creepy place. This can be caused by being near an area with poor electrical work and in areas where the ground is high in iron.

This thread is interesting I'm an atheist and I never thought it was supernatural or anything I just thought it was odd...and my conscious brain is fucking lazy and or dumb as fuck.

cool info

At 18 Hz, which is the resonant frequency of the eyeball, people can start hallucinating. It is suspected that frequencies in this range may be present at many allegedly “haunted” locales, since they create feelings of unease. Furthermore, frequencies around 18Hz may be responsible for many “ghost” sightings. Incidentally, many horror movies use subsonics to create feelings of fear and disorientation in the audience.

From some mixing guide I found online.
