I think the US needs to really check out its nightclub laws and start fixing them..i mean 2 tragedies in 1 week is very fucked up

Indeed. As an established rock venue, the place must have had a stage manager; surely he must have known the crew was setting up flashpots. And he did nothing, obviously. Certainly the band shouldn't have used them in that building - low roof, wooden construction, etc. - but someone at the club must have known they were going to set pyros off. I can just imagine what the conversation between the band management and the club management would have been like:

Great White: "You what? You're telling us we can't use pyros?"

Club: "Damn straight buddy."

Great White: "There's 300 fucking people outside. Do you want us to cancel? They'll tear this place apart."

Club: "Hmmm. Well ok. Just make sure I don't see anyone setting up pyros, and we'll call it even."

Seeing the footage on tv, it wasnt even one flashpot, it was lots of them, so the club must have known they were there, even if it wasnt on the rider...
