edit: If its not to late you really should get a neck pickup. There is no reason at all why you should not have one. It provides a much better sound while shredding.

apprantly you know nothing about shreding if you think you don't need a neck pickup. Sweeps sound like shit without one.

Active pickups suck, however the Miracle Man has the characteristics of an active pickup, it is full of harmonics, has tight bass and really great leads, it has a ceramic magnet and is one powerful motherfucker!
