Yeah I can see how someone wouldn't like Roots or Chaos AD (it's okay to be wrong sometimes :Spin: ), but dislike Arise? Come on!

shit, you made me go and pull out Arise ... how can this possibly be a 10/10 for you?
this is the first Sepultura record that has filler tracks ... I mean, Under Siege, Murder ... blah.
maybe it is because I listened to Sepultura in "sequence" so to speak that I am feeling this way ... but Arise definetelly feels a little lazy and uninspired after BTR, like they were running out of ideas.
In hindsight, Chaos AD was a good direction for them ...

Chaos AD is my favorite from them, the only Sepultura that almost achieves 10/10 (some days it does, some it doesn't). I guess Arise is a little front loaded, only because the later tracks are only kickass instead of way kickass like the early ones.
What the fuck are you guys talking about? On one hand you have "Arise", "Dead Embryonic Cells", "Desperate Cry", "Altered State"...omg, the whole album basically.
And on Chaos AD, you have lots of 1-2 minute songs like "Biotech is Godzilla" and "Slave New Word"...a complete departure from the Beneath the Remains style of epic thrash brutality that put them on the map.
And what does any of this have to do with Sounds of Perseverance. Is threadjacking allowed in this forum?

Chaos AD was rockin' man. I like the two minute diddies they throw in there. Arise was only good for the first 4-5 songs, then just got boring. I like Beneath the Remains OK, Roots not so much except for a few songs.
