D.H.I.A.D.W Trashers......

What are you, Wally's scrotal masseuse? Don't feel the need to defend everything Nevermoe has made. If you like it, fine, that's all well and good. They're big boys, they can handle a little criticism.

Edit: I was going to fix the Nevermoe reference, then decided not to.

Dude i am only telling you i like the cd,I would never stand here and defend any band.Your opinions about music is an individual choice as are mine.I just feel like any time one of you guys attacks dhiadw and some power ballad. That you might be suffering from tunnel vision,Its almost like if a tune dose not flex with metal testosterone you bash it like its weak.I am only defending my own opinion, and trust me i will respect yours.....

I think the album was slightly under-produced... just slightly. And because Jeff just started using a 7-string, he relied on that 7th string a bit too much on some songs. But, despite these criticismns, i like the album very much and it was the first Nevermore album I ever bought. Praise Jesus.... for the Baconator

I'm sure you didn't want the 51st thread about this, right? Simple question since many bash DHIADW and like a lot of the shit on EoR, so I wanted to hear some opinions on what some else thinks is the perfect NM album and why.

Nevermore is like Iced Earth. Never a weak cd by them.

I think DNB is the quintessential Nevermore album. It's perfect in its entirety. It's the album that got me into NM shortly after it was released.

I think DHIADW is shortly behind that, however, with great songs as well. Not as great as DNB, but a close second. Then TGE, EOR, and the rest just kinda trail off because they're pretty much there for nostalgia.

That's Iced Earth's best cd...if that cd only had the Gettysburg trilogy, it would still be their best cd. I'll go one step further...if High Water Mark was the only song on that cd, it would still be better than all their others.

I don't see why people dislike it so much. The only other cd that even came close was Something Wicked. Ripper so owns Barlow...live, Barlow falls a little flat.
