Dakryn's Batshit Theory of the Week

:zombie: I didn't know about this until now. I've heard stories that he was an asshole and ran his business like one as well.
I just bought a set of his polished aluminum wheels for my Chevelle a few months ago and they look great. He did some great work over the years...asshole or not. R.I.P.

here's a pic of the Boyd's:

SS even eh? Nice rims - I had looked at some of his briefly contemplating how they would look on my toy car (92 Mustang LX).

I used to have a 73 Nova SS that I had started restoring (this is back in the late 80s). Completed the motor over a Winter, had it back on the road - then got T-boned....totaled. Car load of punk kids who took off on me - luckily their license plate fell off and the police tracked them down! Insurance gave me $2500 and I sold the rest for $2000 though :)

Yeah just from the show you could tell he was bit of an A-hole boss who did nice things from time to time for the staff. He's a legend in the industry none the less.

We should probably put more white collar criminals in jail though.

I've done my part to keep the prison population down by finding the defendant not guilty the one time I was on a jury. It was a petty drug case.

And all the money they're spending on building prisons could go toward building schools. Likewise, money spent incarcerating someone could have gone toward educating him.

Definitely, or for crimes such as child pornography cases, the perpetrator could be helped psychologically rather than just be shut in jail for however long.

Man that's some bad luck. At least the license plate fell off tho'. I'd be devestated if that happened to me. I haven't even got it on the road yet I'm just now finishing off a complete interior restoration and I'm probably going to strip off the vinyl top and have a guy paint it for me. It's alot of work but It will be worth it.
What do you have done to your Mustang? I'm having a hard time selling mine (waiting for the weather to break:erk:)
Here it is up for sale: https://post.craigslist.org/manage/590985157/rhyad
