Damn, The System Has Failed is good!

I have just been listening to Megadeth's (or Dave's, should I say?) last record and I reakon it's superb!!!!

After Peace Sells and Rust In Peace, I'd have to say TSHF is up there with Countdown to Extinction as being their next best. A really solid metal record.

It has a lot of really good qualities, but there is some certain little thing that I cant quite put my finger on that prevents it from being great.

But I still think it's definately worth getting; a very enjoyable listen.

I still have problems with the way he treated Ellefson. I'm with Kerry King on the Mustaine thing.

I think its good. It still tows the megadeth line. All megadeth albums are at least good some great (excluding Risk which does has a few good songs) but I also think this falls short of being great. Some of the songs just sound like throwaways or song that couldnt make the cut on another album.

I think its a pretty solid album. Countdown is my favorite, and its no Countdown, but its still good. And I like the way Dave sings, he's got that cool snarl to his singing.

Last I heard, Ellefson REFUSED to rejoin the band, TD.
So he didn't treat him badly at all. Ellefson just tried to sue him for 18 million bucks. And most of the shit he's whining about in the lawsuit is over shit that happened over a decade ago. If that shit was so important to him, he should have sued him BACK THEN when it was relevant. He's just in it for the money.

WTF? I knew the Daves weren't togather anymore but I had no idea it had gotten so ugly. Could somebody fill me in on the details?
