What's gonna happen with this? Will we know the real reason why he was fired from the band? I remember there were all kinds of weird rumors and stuff when he was kicked out...If he indeed wrote some stuff that appears on Worship Music and is not credited or paid for, now that's not fair.

Is there any doubt he was booted because the band knew they could generate more buzz (and dollars) with Joey? He was treated poorly, but this lawsuit is a joke. He may be entitled to some songwriting royalties, but nowhere near the figure he's after. As for his reputation, people actually know who he is now. He should probably pay the band for that PR.

I doubt it's going to go anywhere. With public figures, it's almost impossible to prove intentional defamation since both parties are constantly in public giving interviews and such.

Not a fan of them, but that's not exactly what happened. Initially when they got rid of Dan, they tried to get John Bush if I remember correctly and it took a bit to finally get Joey to return. Had Joey initially returned after the boot, I'd buy that thinking, but it didn't happen that way.
