the Darkified album turns out into a real MASSIVE masterpiece. Dan Swano has remastered alll tracks from the demo and ep. Plus we have 4 live recordings (Live in Gothenburg 1991 incl a Bathory cover, also mastered by Dan) and a rehearsal track!!!! Massive liner notes (from all 4 band members and by insiders / key figures in the early Swedish Death metal scene!) and killer artwork will complete the album. Also limited edition shirts will be printed. Plus releases on vinyl and mostelikely casette!! Those were the days !!!

For the non insiders: Darkified recorded their early stuff at Gory / Unisound, Dan produced the demo and ep and contributed some lead guitars and keyboards. Drummer Jocke was later on recruted by Marduk (and nowadays in Dimension Zero) and Roberth.....was in Pan Thy Monium, joined Edge of Sanity and is now in Scar Symmetry.......

DARKIFIED album out NOW!

DARKIFIED was well-known act in the early Swedish underground death metal scene and recorded their demo ‘Dark‘ and EP ‘Sleep Forever’ at Gorysound with Dan Swanö (1991 / ’92). Drummer Jocke was shortly after the EP release recruted by MARDUK (and plays nowadays in Dimension Zero) and Roberth Karlsson (bass) joined PanThyMonium and Edge of Sanity (and nowadays Scar Symmetry) and DARKIFIED split up.. As both demo and EP are much sought after nowadays Vic records will release the entire DARKFIED discography, all songs re-mastered by Dan Swano. Besides the demo ‘Dark‘ and EP ‘Sleep Forever’ this album, entitled ‘Cthulhu Riseth - The Complete Works of Darkified’, contains four life tracks (Live in Gothenburg 1991 including a Bathory cover) and a rare rehearsal track.

The booklet contains massive liner notes (from all 4 band members and by insiders / key figures in the early Swedish Death metal scene: Uffe Cederlund (Morbid / Nihilist / Entombed), Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Unisound) and Niklas Sundin (Dark Tranquility). Artwork by Erik Danielsson (Watain).
