I dont like Manowar. I like them only a bit. I think the thing makes me that dislike its that Manowar arent Gods, but they think they are Gods. They arent Gods. Perhaps kings, but not Gods.

The production fits the music. Its not like Dimmu Borgir, who benefit from layers upon layers of sounds, Darkthrone keep it simple and raw. And thats the way it should be (for them at least)

they have a pretty bad production because they don't want to get famous. they think it's true and they want to stay underground. I think it sucks to make a bad production just because they think it's "true". every band should try to give their best!

The production of the cds fit the cds PERFECTLY, just like Emperor's In The Nightside Eclipse. It does not have to be crystal clear to be good!

sure I never said that. Emperor's In The Nightside Eclipse is my favorite Black Metal album, although the productions isn't very good. But you see, Emperor got the chance to make better productions and they took it!!! they did the best they can, and they tried to produce as good as it's possible! but in case of Darkthrone, I guess they don't, they could do it better but they don't want to because they don't want to sell more albums and because they want to stay "true" (I hate this term)! I really can't understand that... by the way don't get me wrong, I like Darkthrone's music, I just can't stand their attitude at this point. Because if you sell cd's and make money, you try to make a better production, isn't that clear? That's also what Emperor and every other band did!
