Darwin's "Origin of Species" with shit on top.

oh yeah they would, the only reason they can't argue that the earth is flat is because there is too much evidence against them, but that doesn't stop some loonies like geerup from trying to say anything discovered by science is an adults fairy tale

There is also far too much evidence for evolution - the problem is most people are misinformed and have an extraordinarily terrible understanding of it.

That's what allows morons like these to keep going with this bullshit.

I think it's also why they're so freaked out about evolution in schools. They know if people get educated about real science, they'll have a harder time convincing them that everything was created by an invisible sky wizard.

I actually think that they seriously believe what they are preaching and genuinely believe that science is indefinitely false. The only two type of people who could seriously believe religion are the uneducated (which is pretty slim since they teach science in schools) and the delusional (hence why I said schizotypical), so it comes down to the severely uneducated and the mentally ill and in my experience some of the most religious people that I have been near are either schizophrenic, bi-polar, severe depression, usually didn't graduate high school, never attended college and to that standard its amazing that most devote Christians aren't homeless since most of the mentally ill and uneducated without families are homeless (something around 70%)

like i said before it takes a real delusional mind (if not a completely broken one) to believe a "sky wizard" is real and that the documented discoveries of science are a "fairy tale"

You are entitled to your opinion but I would say that the above statement is a little close minded in itself.

The theory of evolution wasn't devised in order to debunk religion, it was struck upon during attempts to understand what we actually observe to be happening.

+2346509834609823...!

I have been telling people this for fucking ever, I'm glad somebody else pointed this out. It is NOT science's job to disprove God. That is not its goal. The vast majority of kids sitting in some electromagnetic theory class are not there because they want to debunk religion (the ones that are are moronic fools). Science is not some petty vendetta against religion!

The only counter-example I can think of is the mathematician G.H. Hardy who wanted to disprove God...but that guy was a nutty pacificist anyways. How the fuck are you going to disprove God using number theory...?

This is like the whole global warming topic now. As soon as the dumb-fuck left-wingers and right-wingers got their claws into it and politicized the shit out of it, it devolved from an intelligent scientific inquiry to a topic that every dumbass and their dog has an opinion about (when they actually know jack-shit). The right-wingers get their asses all chapped because they think climatologists are only researching to further their petty political agenda!...and the left-wingers have completely jumped to unwarranted conclusions and are telling everybody that man is solely responsible for climate change. Fuck!

Science is not a religion, science is not politics.

I am referring to the extremely religious such as this video in the OP, sure there are many who believe in a god but do not belong to any religion, even many scientists and evolutionists believe that. To blindly follow the teachings in a holy book and truly believe it over the discovers of science is clinically classified as schizotypy, I was digging into this subject a few days back. Some have even pointed out to say that in the case of schizophrenia, that religion or religious experiences are indeed schizophrenic in nature, but are actually brought on by the person in search for the ultimate religious experience and therefore not really schizophrenic. However can this way of thinking easily bring on delusional thoughts? Of course to bring yourself to hallucinations of that extreme from sincerely believing in religion would have its effects on one's mental grasp of reality and can have pretty adverse effects.

There have been massive studies on the subject of how religion can alternately negatively effect a persons normal extinct of dealing and grasping the reality of the world around them. Most of those have been done by Dawkins so it would pretty easy to find. The topic of his actually started from his book the god illusion so as I have said, its really easy to find.

no close mindedness or opinion in that, unless you would call science or evolutions, sociology close minded.

Holy (hah) Fuck. Yet more proof that closed book theistic religious beliefs DO twist people's minds into insanity. someone needs to show this guy the first chapter of the bible (genesis) again (and again, and again...). even as a child i read the old testament and thought "this is FUCKED... UP..." even if god does exist, he is a bigot, a pervert, avid supporter of incest (all man comes from adam and eve, and their surviving son who killed his own brother so he could make babies with his mommy!...doh) womanizer, violent, spiteful, hateful, raging, egotistical, unreasonable, and he is basically a spiritual dictator! not a god i want to "worship". Hail Santa!

Why do stupid as fuck Christians try to use Albert Einstein as an example of a Christian Scientist?

They probably only refer to his "God doesn't play dice" quote.

If only Darwin himself had taken more care of his family evolution, his book wouldn't have ended as public domain.

And here is the fantastic piece of shit this crazzzzzyyyy man added.

http://assets.livingwaters.com/pdf/OriginofSpecies.pdf

When you see a biplane and a jet—which share common features of wings, body, tires, engine, controls, etc.—do you assume that one must have evolved from the other naturally, without a maker?

wow, he just totally lost all credentials after that one. And another thing, why does there have to be a creator a designer for DNA, there doesn't have to be a creator for anything to exist.

Thank you for clarifying.

My common argument is that if we were created, God had to have been created. By their logic, we can't have been a product of nothing have thus, must have been created. Same rules apply to a creator in my book.

Ouch, yea that's a tricky question to ponder. Totally mindfuck after a while :P I usually end up thinking about how/why/from what big bang was "created", but I usually don't get any wiser... so I have given up on all the existential thoughts.
