and i give death credit for influencing bands and shit but just cause they influenced bands doesnt make them the best. im sure a lot of bands shittier than death influenced death, doesnt mean they are better than death ya know. i enjoy listening to cob much more but in terms of musical talent and all that i cant say for sure who's better cause i rarely listen to death.

Well first of all... you just don't compare Death to a band like COB... I myself prefer COB... well ALL DEATH is better then Are You Dead Yet. Even tho I prefer COB its still a ridiculous question... Chuck was a musical genius and from what I've heard a hell of a great guy... a bunch of us were talking to Richard Christy after an Iced Earth show and he couldn't even convey in words how great Chuck was as a Musician and a Man. Death is probably the most inspired and unique metal ever written...bottom line! even tho I would rather listen to COB minus AYDY I have to give this one to DEATH... Chuck was a pioneer in Metal... you don't have to like Death... but you do have to respect them if you know anything at all about metal
