Death has great aspects on EVERY instrument, where-as Bodom is only good on Guitar... I don't think there is anything as boring as Bodom's bass lol. Every bassist hates to play it... Death is psycho on Bass. Fun, challenging, different. Drums in Death are just unbelieveable. Bodoms is just the same ole beat over and over pretty much... I prefer Alexi's riffs and solos and stuff more then Chucks, but Chuck has some wicked riffs and leads too! Also I give Death props because they don't have keyboard happying up their sound, and they keep it Raw. Symbolic is one of the best albums EVER, from any band. It's amazing.

Death has the songs that are better then Bodom, or do you fail to recognized that its more then just fancy guitarwork?

Please get that load shot in your face. That was the greatest pile of stupidity I have ever come across since I was subjected to a rant on the philosophical implications of not using the upper frets on a guitar and the virtue thereof. You do not deserve a response.
As it turns out, I like Death just a bit more than a load of flashy guitarwork, wanking keyboards, and double bass that wishes it could be Richard Christy. Do I like Bodom? Yes. Do I think they have the right to walk on the same planet that Chuck Schuldiner made his music on? After watching people spew idiocy like the above, fuck no.

Thats fuckin cool...follow the reaper is full of those ''happy'' melodies...and that album is concidered one of their best. The reason why I didnt really like AYDY is because the happy sounds are basically gone. That pisses me off.

Nah, if you're into melodies and stuff, TSOP will be more accessible. Try Scavenger of Human Sorrow, Bite the Pain, and Story to Tell. Once you've listened to that stuff, and perhaps Overactive Imagination, go with the stuff the other guy mentioned. And that's the whole reason Death rules - because the melodies, in addition to everything else, are not overplayed cheese - the melodies are VERY original. You've heard melodies similar to Bodom's before - but definitely not Death's.
