We have all been in that fork in the road where you have a chunk of cash and want to expand your gear library. This is my dilemma.
I sold off my blackstar and am thinking of either selling the randall and buying a 5150, but I don't want to get stuck in the rut of the old "5150/ recto cab" that's been done. For the same price, I can get a Jet City 50 watt head, and still sell the randall. Then again, I can pass up a new amp and upgrade my converters from the tascam us-1800 to something with insets and start using more outboard. Like a motu 838 or something from A & H.
So advise me. Old 5150, new jet city, new convertors?
What would you do, pro's and cons?
