I think some of you on this message board need to cop a life..All y'all do is complain and moan and biyatch..Deliverance has been out since November of last year..Deliverance is Opeth's best release since the Still Life, MAYH saga..Morning Rise and Orchid are excellent but flawed CD's..Delverance has grown on me and yes I like BTPISIO...I wish opeth would play that track live, I swear I'll be throwing spin kicks and windmills in the pit..The originator of this post sounds like a 12 year old whose jumping on the bandwagon of "Oh opeth sold out"..blah, blah blah..

Opeth will never top the majesty of Morningrise. That's disappointing to me. But who cares?! They keep releasing high quality music.

I don't think they can ever fail to amaze me with a record.

deliverance needs some growing into.. after listening to damnation, you see it in a different light. but i agree its not the best. id say it was second worst, orchid being the worst.

I think the sound,production and quality are very good
but I think the vibe,the sound and all the rest is just not good. The only song I like is the title one.
It's a good album but I was expecting something a little better

Except for Morningrise that is always number 1, the rest of the list changes every once in a while.

Wow, it's amazing that my opinions are the complete opposite of so many of you. I think that Morningrise is awful and that By the Pain I See In Others is the best song on Deliverance... But hey, I'm crazy.

I wasn't singleing you out static, I am just opposed to such a stupid thread and those who start such pointless threads.
I am pretty open-minded, but I will have to be ignorant on this occasion and say that I DO NOT understand people in this forum disliking Opeth's music.
Why are you not open-minded to accepting and going with their direction, it's not like they have changed drastically, and they are constantly delivering YOU the fans, mindblowing music year after year.

And not that Mikael cares what his detractors think, but I would be disheartened if I was him checking out this forum and seeing his biggest supposed fans putting shit on his life's work!!
