I think Dethklok oughta come out with a second album already. There have been some sweet songs that need to come out, like Crush My Battle Opponent's Balls. I know it was released like a few months ago but hey I bet they could handle it.

Uh... well... no, the band isn't a cartoon. I bought Dethalbum before I started watching Metalocalypse. The music is real, and that's a fact. Just because it's the soundtrack for a cartoon doesn't mean the actual Dethklok band of Brendon Small and Gene Hoglan is somehow non-existant. You never buy movie soundtracks? I respect TV shows a lot more than I respect movies. Metalocalypse is a clever show like South Park.

I saw the band live, and it was still boring. There are way better bands you could be listening to and spending money on. And they need your money a lot more than Dethklok.

Naturally, it's a matter of taste. I like the shit I buy more than the shit I don't buy, I'm not a metal charity.
BUT if it's any plus, I didn't get the deluxe edition.

Hahahaha. It can sound however it might, it's still true. Being a tr00 metal d00d is as much a trend as being a Dethklok fan. I buy the music I like, that's not a trend. Those other bands who need my support don't get it because they're not good enough, not according to my taste. And it's not like I don't listen to and support underground and unsigned bands.

I'm sorry if I misled you, I often fail to get my point across. I don't have any problem with you hating Dethklok but I do think the fact that the music is a soundtrack to a show doesn't mean it's invalid. They should be hated the same way Children of Bodom or Dimmu Borgir would be hated (by the people who hate them).

Dethklok is great. I'm hoping they turn a new generation on to death metal (which could be a good or bad thing, I suppose).
I hope they don't release another album, though; it will probably suck (as the show might if it also continues).
