Do you know anyone who is constantly broke?

Why are you friends with him so?

I know him through a mutual friend.

but it doesn't bother me, cause he almost NEVER goes out on the weekends. always stays home. my one friend calls him "homebody", cause thats what he is. once a month he will come out with us, if even that.

HAUA is Armenian? That explains everything! Folks, this is the typical attitude held by every filthy unibrowed dawning BMW dealership dwelling Armo that I have ever come across. Materialism and and an over-abundance of pride that conquers their spirit far more than the grizzly suit of stubble that emanates from every porous hole in their sweat soaked bodies. These fuckers will let their kids go hungry to make the monthly payment on their luxury vehicle. That's how important the outward show of success really is to them. Truth, be told, a good portion of these fucks cruise up to the local Albertson's and purchase their groceries with food stamps. They're a tribe of hyenas, that have proven that the only true failure in HAUA's life, is not his father, but the Ottoman Turks who failed to the task of finishing off his kind nearly a century ago.

It's alright HAUA, when you're 60 years old you'll be playing chess in the park like every one of your Uncles today.

   where in the fucking hell did that come from?

although I suppose some of that shit is accurate, I am barely even Armenian though. I have been living here for the last 8 or 9 years and, at this point, I'd say I am 100% an American right now.

and hey, I take offense to "unibrow dawning", I am actually a pretty damn good looking guy, yea most armenians (especially men) are hideous but I don't give two shits about that. I am going to marry an American chick anyways

money is freedom, money is power

I want money so I can do absolutely everything that I want to. I want to be able to take a month of work and go to some beautiful resort and relax in style. I want to be able to go to every world series game every year, I want to be able to go to every superbowl game etc...

money is freedom man, that's what I seek.

Money is SLAVERY.

Money is SLAVERY.

actually, slavery is working some shitty 10 dollar/hour job in a shitty company. Having to work 30 hours overtime to have to pay for rent. Having to constantly worry about bills, collectors and all kinds of debts, now that's slavery.

money is only slavery if you allow it to crush your soul, and that's something I will never do

why are people laughing when I say I am going to make 100 - 150 k a year?

I am going to get a bachelors and possibly masters degree from UIC (one of the best uni's in the US, top 60 I believe in business and top 25 in finance program). I am going to get a job in something like business administration/finance etc... though right now I am not looking that far forward

I clearly have the dedication, the drive, the work ethic, and the capability and will have the education for it so why are people doubting me? I don't get it.

Brag when you've actually done it.

Nostradumbass.

but people are pretending that it's some sort of a spectacular and remarkable feat, when it is nothing of the sort

average salary stats are skewed when you have all the poor people with no opportunity, no education, etc... Look up the average salary of somebody who's 30 - 40 years old who had masters/bachelors degree from a university the caliber of UIC, and you will see what I am saying is extremely reasonable

Go right a book about it then.

Just because people CAN make money doesn't mean they want to.

well I can and I will make that sort of money. I am just puzzled by the reaction of some of the people on here who think I am talking out of my ass.

My goals are somewhat high but very reasonable.

my biggest wish however is to make this money so I can give my kids the lifestyle that I was never given by my parents (though I have reevaluated my earlier posts and realized I was being way too harsh with my father, I am just going to accept things the way they are). I want my children to grow up with every opportunity in the world, with the ability to go to the absolute best universities, etc...

see, money itself is obviously worthless. What money represents to me is power, freedom and opportunity.

Fuck. Spoiled little fucks are the worse. They grow up to be psuedo-metalheads at best, never REALLY understanding a fucking thing.
