Do you listen to metal and only metal?

I'm starting to get sick of metal music. I have a good ammount of metal cds and only listen to about 10% of them. I just find it hard getting into music myself as in finding something else because I am so use to just listening to metal.

Apart from listening to metal which is probably around 85% or 90% of the time, i listen to various forms of rock, alternative, hip hop, electronica and industrial

doom metal
classic
old school rock
industrial

and oldies!haha. from when i was little and stuck driving around with my mum. some of the stuff stuck around: cat stevens, chris issac... etc

it wold be very boring if people listened to only one genre. though to be fair "metal" is such a broad umbrella...u'know?

My musical tastes are all over the board.
Metal of course but I also listen to cheezy 80's stuff like Tears for Fears sometimes and also 80's hair metal.
Some backyard drinkin' type stuff like Sublime 311, Incubus and Dispatch. I love Zeppelin and Allman Brothers, Blind Faith, and Robin Trower. Also 90's alternative stuff like Melvins,Meat Puppets,Third Eye Blind, Alice in chains. Consider myself pretty knowledgable. I could probably answer any music question from late 60's Rock til' present.

I listen to mainly metal. Besides that I listen to lots of classical, usually via a car radio. My father has a big collection of pipe organ CD's that I like to play while reading Dante and sipping boozy coffee, as I have done all week.

I amnot really a metal-head so to say. I dont wear bands shrits often and even then i dont own much. I say at metal forums because they have ussally the best music talks. But i do listen metal only on the computer aside froma few non-metal bands.

Really?

Band shirt + kutte + faded jeans = Kickass :kickass:

Besides metal I listen to different types of classic rock and a little bit of Grunge like Alice in Chains.

Other than metal I enjoy all forms of electronica. Techno, trance, house, jungle, and my fav: drum & bass. Perfect dancing music, cause you can't really shake your hips to metal.

99% of the time, i listen to only metal. the other 1% is various "classical" music from the romantic era and later. "classical" music that metal gets its roots. but like i said, i listen to metal mostly. why? because metal has everything. fast, slow, happy, sad, folk music, beer drinking music... metal exists for every mood and occasion.

I listen to about 75% metal, and the rest is gothic/death rock, darkwave, and medieval.

It works well enough to slammy death metal and some goregrind, although I admittedly usually switch to electronic. Mucopus is quite fun to dance to, granted that it probably isn't something one would want to engage in publicly.

I occasionally get bored with metal, so I'll go listen to something else (Yes, metal covers lots of areas, but find me a metal band that doesn't include drums, guitars and bass). Most often some kind of...electronic music, though I don't own much and am not very knowledgable on it. I love Radiohead from OK Computer onwards (Kid A is one of my favourite albums), and I think The Future Sound Of London are great, though I only have some compilation album, I need to buy more. Jamiroquai are also pretty damn groovy. I like groovy.

Irish coffee? What do yuo put in the coffee to make it boozy?
I've always liked the idea and imagery of Dante's Inferno and Paradise Lost, I need to read them.:)
