and yes eventually there's going to appear a subject(like pedophilia) that's taboo and an argument may fire up...but I think we're mature enough not to take disagreements personally...or hold one's opinions against him.
and I also think the church of humanity could really work.
besides, the religion thread was opened by you in order not to derail other threads into subjects of contrevorsy and so far it has served its purpose pretty well.

I think you did one thing that's wrong and that's put a request to close the thread before you actually heard any of the other oppinions regarding this matter.
In case most of the people who post here think it should stay...Avi can always unlock it too and no harm done but still you should ask the people first.
