DREAM THEATER KICK-OFF SUMMER NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINING TOUR:
Legendary progressive metal act Dream Theater is launching a North American summer headlining tour, kicking off July 24 in San Diego, CA. Joined by breakthrough progressive metal acts Into Eternity and Redemption, the tour will span throughout the U.S. and Canada. Dream Theater will be taking the headlining reigns, performing songs from their Roadrunner Records debut, Systematic Chaos, as well as compositions from their genre defining back catalogue. Their ninth studio album, Systematic Chaos was released on June 5th and has been received with solid critical and fan acclaim. The tour will further solidify the band's legendary technical prowess, capturing a time when the quartet have reached their artistic Zen, hailed by Billboard Magazine as “the genre's [Prog] poster child.”

Dream Theater has just released a music video for their first single, Constant Motion. Directed by Andrew Bennett (Deftones, Van Halen, The Dresden Dolls), the video highlights a technically induced performance by the band coupled with an animated spin-off of the album cover art, created by Hugh Syme (Rush, Iron Maiden, Megadeth). The video is currently available for viewing on the Roadrunner Records website (www.roadrunnerrecords.com).

We will be there in Bezerkley , Saturday night!!!!

Anyone that is on the board that is going to the show. We are having a pre show get together at Jupiter at 5:00 PM, the usual BARfest suspects. Killer place and since the venue sells NOTHING, we will have to get our fill before hand...

ill be at the LA show tomorrow :kickass: Cant wait, and then Symphony X on Tuesday. Gonna be a great few days, but lots of driving lol. Takes 6 hours to get there and back. But it'll be worth it

Looks like GA, the Carolinas and FL all get fucked on this deal.....

Being in NC, I pathetically say.....I am used to this, though so never happy about it....but no Virginia show?....Geez...all the years supporting this bands tours , traveling to the 9.30 club, and the closest they come is Baltimore?????

Where is the hope that more shows will be in this area when the biggest of them refuse to do a full US tour.

Well...do have Lillian Axe and Porcupine Tree coming up.

If you do get I&W, I think the only song that they've been playing at every show is Constant Motion. So you can count on hearing that for sure, and possibly The Dark Eternal Night
