I would just say he created a style based on the grindcore blast beat, I wouldn't say he single handedly created the blast beat full stop. Would be kinda like saying that Judas Priest were the first metal band, if you can see where I'm coming from

Sadly I think Ken's one of the most overlooked drummers in metal.

Well he's not exactly been able to do much recently for obvious reasons - his drum solo at Damnation 2008 was immense though!

Yeah, I was just referring to his work prior to him suffering the hemorrhage. Mainly Necroticism and Swansong, which I think feature his strongest performances.
