I need to control computer A (xp) remotely (but on same wifi) as computer B Osx/win7. I'd like to be able to install on each one and be good to go. What's the easiest way to do this?

I tried using the iPad but I cannot get some controls to work (like click and drag to turn a dial or even move a fader (MOTU cuemix fx)

easy as pie

Real VNC is what I use. It's pretty awesome to be able to take my laptop into the vocal booth and do my thing without having to have anyone else in the studio with me.

Can you not just use the built in Remote Desktop Client built in to Windows? Either that, or a vote for Logmein here.

>>>Doh! Missed the OSX requirement...

I am totally going to do this to be the laziest motherfucker on earth while tracking. Beanbag chair + laptop win.

My router is about 30-40 ft away with 4 walls in between on a different floor so lag is kinda eh.

Teamviewer was so easy to use, installed on both machines, same wifi, typed in partner ID, connected.

No parts, IP, firewalls, etc to jump through.
