Election day thread

I'm hoping that the Republicans taking the house will instill some confidence in business that Obama won't be able to throw any major curve balls at them and they'll start hiring the first of the year.

Voting around 4 or 5pm today, got to drive from Riverside to Rancho to vote since they fucked up and didn't send me an absentee ballot.

After doing a hefty amount of research, I am only voting for 3 of the listed ballots. Kind of sad that the others are so loaded. What really sucks are some of the poison-pill provisions :(

Doing some research right now on the figureheads for the state, while working on a paper that I hope won't be bashed too hard for my philosophy of mind class.

Edit: I have picked my choices for the following: State Secretary, Attorney General(both choices are terrible though) and the State Chair. Now I have to decide on a governor... which when it comes down to it is between Brown and Wells... I don't really like Brown, but he is most likely to be the one that will go against Whitman or the HP bitch. If either of those ceo's comes into power though... ugh.

Not voting, but I am looking forward to a lot of Republican wins. It's not because I like Republicans (I don't); I'm looking forward to a gridlocked government. Seriously, I want the Democratic party to stop doing things. It's the best thing I can hope for at this point.

All of this
