Empiricism or Quintessence?

i've been wanting to get a borknagar album and a heard a few tracks off both albums but i'm not sure which to get?? i am leaning towards Quintessence though...but perhaps empiricism needs a few more listens?..help..

I have to say Empiricism.. mainly because i dig vintersorg..
But both albums are really great and worth spending money on...

is empiricism varied?? quintessence seems quite balanced with some good tracks featuring clean vocals like colossus and some great death/black metal tracks like maybe ruins of the future

Oh, yes.....varied indeed.... overall i think its sound is more......mature? oh well, whatever....it is a brilliant album....

Get their self-titled and the archaic course...but to answer your question. Get Empericism...Quintessene failed miserable with the exceptin of Ruins Of The Future and Track 8 whichever one that was.

Very True!!! All are AWSOME for their era of Borknagar, but Vintersorg fits the latest best.....and the lastest IS the best
