Question about prices

My question is : will Borknagar get more money if I buy their CD's at a retail store (Most imported metal is about $20-30), or will it not make a difference if I mail order them? I bought Quintessence and Empiricism at HMV, both great cd's, but it's a bit expensive to buy 5 cd's at a time there.

I want their whole collection!

i believe bands get more money from albums and merch purchased at shows rather than purchased through stores/internet...

I believe that if you buy online or from a retailer it will not change the % the band receives. With sales at gigs, some bands will buy bulk stock from their label at a cheaper price than the rrp and receive all sales profit from this. I am not 100% sure though.
