if i were to choose between those two, id go for quintessence. but but if i were to choose between all albums, id go for the first two.. those are my faves

I choose Empiricism because , it sounds more into the progressive-technical direction

I'd go for Garm.

Vintersorg is a great vocalist, but personally, I get tired of his voice after 20-25 minutes of listening to it. Can't explain why.

Empiricism has more varied and interesting song structure than Quintessence. Then again, there are no songs like The Presence is Ominous and Colossus. It's a tough call, but IC Vortex (my favourite vocalist in any genre) wins me over to Quintessence, although I listen to Empiricism as an album much more often than Quintessence.
