ENGL/DFH clip -need fatter sound+tips

engl fireball with guitarhack`s impulses. bass is guitar tuned down okt.. drums DFH with samples on everything except cymbals.
im looking to get the as blood runs black sound. and how do i get my mix louder and fatter?
(and I know, guitars are sloppy, ...took me 5mins to rec.)
any tips/comments would make me happy!

Way too much reverb, plus you need some randomizing going on with the drums. Not digging that snare at all. What samples did you use?

If you want a "fat" sound, you'd be better off with BFD. DFH works for that kinda Meshuggah/new In Flames/Ziltoid sound, but not a whole ton else, when it comes to metal. You could use some bigger sounding samples along with DFH and that might help some. Also, real bass played by a real bass player, and tight guitar. Half the trouble with getting a fat sound is getting everything sounding as big as possible while still being tight as possible. Sloppy playing, even with the best mix, is going to sound like shit. It's really hard to tell if that guitar tone is any good when the guitars are so off.
