Essay on Black Sabbath

There are three things you seem be to an expert on. Being owned, homosexuals, and emo. The question is why? Maybe because you were severly owned by an emo homosexual perhaps? Or perhaps because you have the intellect of an ape.

On second thought, that was too much of a compliment. Apes can actually make tools. How about a sloth. Yes those animals are quite stupid.

Being a complete smartass is bad thing. Talking like your so important and what not only makes you look like a bitter person. Nobody in the right mind would ever talk to you.

I am UN-ownable. So kiss my ass while your mom gives me head. i hope one day somebody beats you severealy that you dont look human anymore. that person might be me and you might die. Oh yeah and stop acting like a tough guy, cause everybody knows your a complete pussy.

Learn how to read. I wasn't even directing that to you, notice the fucking quote in my post.

Just shut the fuck up and leave this forum. SIMPLE PLAN ARE NOT METAL END OF FUCKING STORY GOODBYE.

PWNED

Just out of curiosity, what did Simple Plan do that Blind 182 didn't do, 6 years earlier?

I just need a frame of reference here. Has anyone ever called Blink 182 metal?

^There we go, finally, our reason for SP not being metal. They are "punk," influenced by Blink 182. Satisfied?

Ok, I found some definitions of "punk".

"Punk rock emphasizes simple musical structures and arrangements".

Can you really call the powerful riffs of sp "simple"?

"Punk lyrics introduced a confrontational frankness of expression and social and political relevance that had been missing from contemporary music."

Yes, SP lyrics are relevant, but they are not political. They sing of things that all of us feel.

Doesn't sound like it's punk.

This actually reminds me of when Good Charlotte got popular at my school. Everyone tried to make them out to be a metal band because one of the band members wore black clothes and eyeliner.

Kids these days

I was pretty sure, up until now, that Simple Plan and Good Charlotte and probably about 150 other bands were one and the same, and that the record companies had just dressed them differently and given them haircuts or glue-on-moustaches.

It makes me sad to think that shit bands like that actually get signed to any sort of label at all but yet there is so much unknown talent (namely a few people I know) just lurking around. :erk:

Sorry about that question, having p2p I should have gotten some songs before asking.

Just listened to some songs, it's good but it's not sp. The lyrics are not as deep. The music is cool, but I don't think it's metal like sp, I have to admit you were right in that one.

So you're saying SP is not metal?
