They do have some great things about the team obviously.. having van der Saar in the net and all those offensive players will definitely bring them far. They still would've needed a Stam in the defense line. All four players are okay, but only van Bronckhorst has ever been playing true top level football. That's what could bring them down. One new player that impressed however is Engelaar in the midfield. Great games and he truly needs to keep playing like that so van der Vaart, Snejider, Robben etc. can focus on all out attack.

Yeah, but they're still GOOD in defence, if not brilliant. With their ability to score, it almost cancels out any weakness.

Yup, but remember the performances of the teams they faced also. France is being shit coached to death and Italy has been horrible in both defense and offense with Buffon as their only positive quality. What happens when they face teams that are surprisingly good like Croatia?

I think they'll be able to handle it. They've been powerful, regardless who their opponents are. I agree that they will have more of a challenge against some other teams, but they look very, very strong.

No point watching the Holland game in my opinion. The France - Italy bloodbath should be loads more exciting. Funny thing is, if Romania wins, the France-Italy game was a complete waste of time anyway.
